Hi, I'm DavidHarper. I propose that TiddlyWiki and the BlosxomWeblog make a powerful and flexible team. I call this dynamic concept BloTid. This is an example to show that the concept is feasible, though much remains to be done to extend its capabilities.
TiddlyWordish is a concept for an extension of BlosxomWeblog's WikiWordish plugin, to support TiddlyWiki style links.
WikiEditish is an existing plugin for the BlosxomWeblog, which allows for wiki-like editing of weblog entries.
WikiWordish is a BlosxomWeblog plugin that allows a form of wikiword syntax. This plugin could be possibly modified to support TiddlyWordish.

A TiddlyWiki is like a blog because it's divided up into neat little chunks, but it encourages you to read it by hyperlinking rather than sequentially: if you like, a non-linear blog analogue that binds the individual microcontent items into a cohesive whole. The latest version of TiddlyWiki can be found at http://tiddlywiki.com/
A TiddlyFlavoured BlosxomWeblog creates a BlosxomGenerated TiddlyWiki. This fusion is what inspired BloTid.

TiddlyUpload would be accomplished by a ServerSide Perl script. An upload form to a CGI script could port TiddlyWiki pages into Blosxom sites, by scraping the page for new or updated Tiddlers; This would give BloTid an RssSiteFeed and aid in distribution and maintainence of shared TiddlyWiki notebooks. A versioning system tagged by individual author could allow administrators to resolve any editing conflicts.
TiddlyMarkDown is a concept for exporting BlosxomWeblog sites to TiddlyWiki. A Blosxom plugin could be designed to support TiddlyMarkDown, (stripping out HTML, rewriting links in TiddlyWiki syntax, trying to preserve the formatting of existing entries). Blosxom sites could then be ported to a TiddlyWiki, in a nearly seamless fashion.

Jeremy Ruston is a technologist based in London. He does consultancy work through his company http://www.osmosoft.com, as well as pursuing some independent projects like TiddlyWiki. He can be reached at {}, and He regularly reads and replys to messages on the TiddlyWiki GoogleGroups.
A fusion of BlosxomWeblog and TiddlyWiki, BloTid is a TiddlyWiki adaptation, generated by converting Blosxom sites into a TiddlyFlavoured output.\n\n TiddlyWordish, TiddlyMarkDown and TiddlyUpload are concepts for extending Blosxom into a closer alliance with TiddlyWiki.\n\n BloTid was proposed by DavidHarper, with many thanks to RaelDornfest, (author of Blosxom), and JeremyRuston, (author of TiddlyWiki), and with the hopes that both communities will find some use in it.\n\n Learn more about this TiddlyWiki adaptation at http://www.spacecoastweb.net/BloTid/.

WelcomeNote BloTid BlosxomGenerated BlosxomWeblog RssSiteFeed
A BlosxomGenerated TiddlyWiki is just like any other TiddlyWiki, except it is really a TiddlyFlavoured BlosxomWeblog. The rules for notation in Blosxom are different, but can be adapted to serve. The BloTid method of publishing TiddlyWiki pages will be of greatest use when a TiddlyUpload and versioning system are created.
http://www.blosxom.com/ is the ServerSide Perl script at the heart of a very adaptable blogging solution. RaelDornfest is the primary author of this fine software, but many others are active in its development. Blosxom is extended though plugins and its output can be flavoured to suit many needs. Blosxom makes it easy for a group to update a shared set of pages, with wiki-like functionality using the WikiEditish and WikiWordish plugins. It was simple to configure Blosxom's output to produce a TiddlyWiki. On-demand production of several flavours of dynamic content is Blosxom's forte: It easily produces RSS, so a BlosxomGenerated TiddlyWiki has a built-in RssSiteFeed.
